Biography
From the very beginning, his unique style and innovative approach earned him worldwide recognition. His works, exhibited in prestigious galleries and museums, captivate both the general public and fine art experts. His growing influence has led him to collaborate with renowned personalities and brands such as David Guetta and Aston Martin, who seek his talent for exclusive artistic projects.
In 2019, he officially represented the Principality of Andorra at the 58th Venice Biennale, a milestone that reinforced his international stature. Since 2020, his works have been featured at the Museum of Fine Arts in Carcassonne, where they are presented in annual exhibitions. The following year, the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in Saint Petersburg dedicated a major exhibition to him, titled Flavor of Sensuality, showcasing around thirty of his most iconic photographs.
In June 2024, Philippe Shangti became the most highly valued living French photographer after one of his works sold for €290,000 at the L’Astarossa auction in Monaco. A few months later, on November 7, 2024, he was honored at Artcurial Paris with the publication of Futurspective, a monographic book dedicated to his work, written by art critic and writer Renaud Siegmann.
The year 2025 begins with yet another recognition: his masterpiece Mona Lisa Released is exhibited in January at the prestigious BRAFA in Brussels.
