The young but well-established artist Chloé B. aka Chloé Bolloré is full of creative ideas. She continues the work of her elders, re-inventing the great artistic movements of the 20th century, by adding her own touch, which is both original and irresistible. Pop Mouth - wall metal sculpture - original ed. of 8ex + 4AP - 100 x 100 x 17 cm STREET ART Thirsty Bstrd is a French visual artist from Paris, using spray paint, stencils, stickers... His work mainly consists in making satirical comments about society, politics and consumerism through pop-culture references and a quirky and subversive sense of humor. His work has featured in solo and group shows and can be found worldwide in numerous private collections. His pieces have also attracted attention in several art auctions generating a great amount of enthusiasm. Since 1985 his works have been exhibited in the most important contemporary art fairs, in Paris, New York, Hong Kong, and are now part of prestigious private collections. But he felt quickly restricted in his creativity, so the artist chose to continue his training as a self-taught artist. Funky, 2017 - mixed media on wood - one of a kind original artwork - 60 x 90 cm CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE Peppone is a French artist living next to Aix-en-Provence, who has been collecting olds albums of Tintin's adventures since he was a child (a passion he inherited from his father). The artist creates most of his sculptures by using old comic books. He uses this accumulation of papers to imagine resin shapes in bright and variegated colors. They are imbued with a strong pop symbolism which reminds him of childhood and innocence. The characters of Hergé are not his only creations since Star Wars, and his superheroes such as Darth Vador, Walt Disney and his eternal Mickey Mouse, the Hulk, Snoopy, Zorro and Spiderman have also inspired him. As Cecile’s photography progressed, she linked Barbie to the women of today - all the while playing with her femininity as the icon took on many lives while juggling daily life as a wife, mother, friend, and lover. Over and above the myth of woman as object, the artist elevates the idol of our collective childhood by supporting the challenges of women today to defend their rights, their desires, and their hard-fought freedom. Alex : Nun & Baby Dune - lenticular print - original ed. of 8ex + 2AP - 125 x 95 cm OPTICAL ART Born in 1960 in Paris, Patrick Rubinstein is a French contemporary artist famous for his Optical and Kinetic Art paintings. Through his art, Rubinstein pays tribute to Pop culture, portraying the biggest names from the sixties from Marilyn Monroe to Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson. He does so in his own way, by compiling two or three different images onto each other, and displaying them in a unique manner. London Calling - kinetic work - one of a kind original artwork - 113 x 113 cm URBAN ART Slasky's work is a fusion of urban influences and classic contemporary pop art in which he represents the icons of this century and those that make significant moments in history. The style is very personal, working from some of the most recognizable images in the world. Orfeo ( Live Music Tonight ) - screenprint on paper - original ed. of 8ex + 2AP - 100 x 51 cm CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE Born in Haifa, Israel in 1968, Idan Zareski has had a non-conventional yet surprising journey. Very young he was immersed in multiple cultures and lived a cosmopolitan life between Africa, Europe, the United States and Latin America. At the age of 38 he decided to stop everything to follow his passion, sculpting. Idan gained rapid international recognition with his Bigfoot Family and the permanent exhibitions of his monumental sculptures worldwide.
