ABOUT THE ARTIST

Peppone was born in 1970 near Aix-en-Provence. Passionate collector of comics, his sculptures are created and cut from the collage-bound cuts of the original comics, bought in antique markets, by old bookshops and by friends collectors. The artist uses this accumulation of papers to imagine resin shapes in bright and variegated colours. They are imbued with a strong pop symbolism which reminds him of childhood and innocence.
