KAÏ

CAROLE A. FEUERMAN

SANTIAGO MONTOYA

Kaï is an American artist known for his use of cement and the iconic character Imaginary Friend. He studied art in the École des Beaux Arts of Paris and became a street artist at the age of 16. Kaï is widely recognized for his urban art found in his hometown of Los Angeles, across the United States, and abroad. He also creates paintings, sculptures, and limited edition collectibles. In September 2017, Kaï released a limited edition serigraphy titled "Love vs Money," featuring his character Imaginary Friend.

Carole A. Feuerman was born in 1945 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. In the late seventies, after having developed works linked to the poetics of the fragment, theorized by postmodernist thought, she began to create full-figure sculptures with a strong realist impact. Her personal variation of pop marks the profound difference with the works created in the late sixties by the hyperrealist sculptors. In 2011, she founded the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation. She lives and works in New York.

After over 10 years of exploration to find a formal structure for his art, the Columbian artist came across the idea of using money to paint, finding meaning and purpose in his work. His creative process is very long since can spend over a thousand hours to create one single piece of art, acquiring up to 3300 banknotes and finally putting them on panel. He also uses paper world currencies, precisous stones, sculpture and neon. Montoya speak with humour about global subjects that affect us all.

CÉDRIC BOUTEILLER

ANTOINE DUFILHO

PHILIPPE SHANGTI

The three keystones of Cédric Bouteiller are color, material, movement; forgetting all his academic codes and the illustrative gesture, the artist expresses himself through abstractive paintings and graffiti, placing emotions as the heart of the composition. "The abstraction that I convey in my painting reflects my inner-self. With my doubts, my sorrows, my bright side. I like the idea of my unconscious emerging unrestrained to the surface".

Antoine Rose started working on the “Up in the air” series in 2002, while he was shooting the kitesurfing world cup in Rio de Janeiro. Rose’s powerful camera allows for the highest resolution even for the smallest detail. These miniature-like representations transform the natural aerial landscapes into abstract paintings and inscribe his works in a minimalist artistic approach. He introduces a tension between real and virtual, between the visible and the hidden.

Philippe Shangti moved to Saint-Tropez at the start of his career, where he opened a number of renowned establishments and draw his artistic inspiration from. He portrayes the opulence and decadence of this legendary destination, aesthetically exposing the vices of this world. Shangti is a pioneer in the use of female models, whom he stages in a glamorous and sometimes erotic way, with strong messages inscribed on them by hand.
