PRESENTING WORKS BY

JEFF KOONS

Jeff Koons is the world's most expensive living artist. He is famous for his giant sculptures and paintings, as well as his talent for provocation. His work is particularly influenced by the advertising iconography and American pop art of the 1980s. Fond of kitsch, he exploites this vein to the full and wins over collectors the world over. He uses icons of popular culture from the USA to add to his aesthetic. His work ‘Rabbit’, to be auctioned in 2019 by Christie's in New York, sold for 91 million dollars, an all-time record for a living artist.

CÉCILE PLAISANCE

IDAN ZARESKI

LEO MANELLI

Leo Manelli intrigues as much as he fascinates. As an extraordinary artist, he is known for his ability to merge classical painting with anachronistic elements drawn from art and luxury, creating a unique blend of eras and cultures. A talented realistic painter, he meticulously reproduces masterpieces, often sourced from prestigious museum collections. Leo Manelli appropriates these works to bridge the centuries and and breathe life into artworks of timeless beauty.

Candid and laid-back, Idan’s sculptures demonstrate his innate talent to represent emotions. The artist manages to capture moments in such a way that we feel naturally connected to his touching, and graceful work. While encouraging cultural awareness and tolerance around the globe, the Bigfoot Family achieved a recognizable notoriety throughout their universal message of unity.

Over and above the myth of a woman being an object, Cécile Plaisance strips the idol of our childhoods, supporting the challenges of woman today to defend their rights, their desire and maintain their gained freedom. She transforms the little black dress worn by the reserved timid woman, the nuns cloak, the burka of the veiled woman… Careful! Behind one woman there may be another one hiding! Cécile Plaisance invites us into the subtle and sensual freedom of the senses.

ANTOINE DUFILHO

CÉVÉ

PEPPONE

Cévé specializes in contemporary animal sculpture and her style is recognized by the purity of the line and the smooth-tensioned bronze finish. It is through her experience in the medical environment of visually impaired people that we find the reason why the artist is attached to the pure and smooth lines of her sculptures: indeed, for CÉVÉ, the sculpture must not only be looked at, each work must also make you want to be touched.

Antoine Dufilho combines his passion for cars with his knowledge of architecture and medicine to devote himself to sculpture. His work consists in exposing an alternation of full and empty, materializing a skeleton, breaking down the forms into successive layers. A movement is created by this sequenced representation, bringing lightness and dynamism to the general form. Through the kinetic vision of a static object, the observer gains access to an evolving interpretation.

Located in the Luberon region of Provence, Peppone's workshop, also known as Christophe Tixier, is a true treasure trove of reclaimed pieces. The artist utilizes an abundance of comic books paper to create brightly colored and variegated resin forms imbued with popular symbolism that evoke the innocence of childhood and his native territory. It is by carving into this abundance of paper that Peppone breathes life into his works.
